A: No! Dr. Norris uses gentle drop-table adjustments, no twisting, cracking, or popping. You may experience mild soreness, similar to what you feel after a new workout, as your body relearns its alignment.
The NUCCA process utilizes a precise, gentle, and non-invasive spinal adjustment to reduce interference in the nervous system when the craniocervical junction, where the head and neck meet, is misaligned.
Rooted in decades of clinical research, NUCCA focuses on correcting what’s known as the Atlas Subluxation Complex.
Doctors take highly specific X-rays of the head and neck and perform mathematical measurements to identify each patient’s unique misalignment pattern.
Once this pattern is determined, further X-rays are usually unnecessary. Doctors closely monitor posture, which is closely linked to upper cervical alignment, to track progress and maintain alignment over time.
Thanks to the precision of these measurements, patients often require fewer adjustments overall.
